Hello Everyone,

My name is gift

Today is the 24th day of April, 2021

what I learnt from today topic Why did John use 'Spirit' instead of 'Prophet' in 1 John 1:3?( part 1 of 2)

A prophet is a person who has been giving d gift of prophecy that for tell things.

There is a particular spirit on a particular prophet 1corninthian 14:32

An the spirit of the prophet are subjected to the prophet ,every particular prophet has a particular spirit.

A prophet is being recognized by the spirit in him like prophet Jeremiah ,amo and Malachi .

According to 1Corinthian 14:37 say if any man think himself to be a prophet or spiritual let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

How do we know the spirit is of God
According to 1john 4:2 say hereby know yet the spirit of God every spirit that confesseth that Jesus is come in flesh is of God then verse 3 says and any spirit that confesseth not of Jesus is come in flesh is not of God

Any prophet that says that Jesus is a man that does not have a spirit of God in him ,is not a prophet .

Thank you
