Scriptures from the bible: philippians 2:15-16, 1 peter 2:12, Mathew 5:14-16, Romans 2:23-24, Proverbs 11:30, Luke 15:7

Today’s mass indoctrination held by brother Eli was very interesting it talked about the fact that believers of God are supposed to live as examples of God’s love and truth, being the light in a dark and morally corrupt world. It is God’s will for each and every one of our actions to reflect on his teachings, encouraging others to glorify him.

Philippians 2:15-16: so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.

As Christians even when we are criticized or misunderstood, we should always persist in doing good. Our righteous behavior can influence others and lead them to glorify God.

1 peter 2:12: Conduct yourselves honorably among the Gentiles, so that when they slander you as evildoers, they will observe your good works and will glorify God on the day he visits.

We should be to let our good works be visible to everyone around us, not for self-glorification, but to give God all the glory and let him know that we appreciate and love all the works he does for us. Hypocrisy among Christians dishonors God. True respect to God’s word involves aligning actions with beliefs; this means that we should avoid behaviors that could lead others to discredit God. Righteousness leads to a good live and influences everyone positively. Winning souls for God through love and good deeds is a sign of wisdom.

Mathew 5:14-16: you are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Romans 2:23-24: you who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you

Proverbs 11:30: The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.

As emphasized in Luke 15:7: I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. This highlights God’s love for all of us in the world and the immense joy that repentance brings to heaven. Each act of kindness we achieve and righteousness we exhibit can serve as a beacon, guiding others towards God’s love and repentance, ultimately fulfilling our purpose as Gods followers.
