Scriptures from the bible: Hebrews 10:24-25, James2:1, Matthew 26:41, 1 Corinthians 14:26, Acts 20:7, Revelation 5:8-9

Today’s mass indoctrination held by Brother Eli was very engaging and insightful; it talked about us as Christians being able to encourage one another to show love and good deeds. We should come together and have regular fellowship and gatherings which are essential for strengthening our relationship with God, faith and unity of the community.

Hebrews 10:24-25: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Brother eli also talked about the ability to stay vigilant and pray which are very vital to avoid falling into sin. Recognizing human weaknesses helps in staying spiritually disciplined, avoiding temptations and maintaining our relationship with God.

Matthew 26:41:Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

We should not discriminate others because it is against the word of God, all members of the community should be treated equally and with dignity because we all equal in the eyes of God. The true faith of a Christian manifests in impartiality and kindness.

James 2:1-4:my brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

He also implied that gatherings should be constructive, aiming to edify the community and promote spiritual growth of the group. The act of coming together strengthens unity, fosters understanding, and builds a sense of shared purpose within the community, this helps us to easily share Gods words. The early Christians prioritized studying the word of God during their gatherings; this means that fellowship and teaching are integral parts of Christian meetings and dedication to spiritual learning requires time and effort.

1 Corinthians 14:26 what then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.

As emphasized in Revelation 5:8-9: And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. Worship and fellowship are very essential acts of glorifying God, where believers unite in song and praise, celebrating the redemption brought through God’s sacrifice for all people, tribes, and nations.
