from today's teaching we where taught to do other people what we will like them to do unto us without looking down on anyone, whether a neighbor or an enemy, for we are all God's creatures, created in his image and likeness. Rather of teaching people how to murder, we should preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, which brings hope to the hopeless and serves as a guide for them to follow, by doing so we are helping humanity to find the through religion. Any pastor who encourages his flock to murder is not a true pastor, and he is not teaching the truth since the truth is far from from him we should flee from such person. God's commandment is that we should do to others what we would like others to do to us, and that we should not do to others what we would not want others to do to us, in as much we want love, we should learn to love others, and if you want patience, give patience to others. When we as Christians have the ability to do good, we must do it totally for all men, especially for those in the house hold of faith, and also extend our helping hands to those outside as well.
God's plan for humanity is to love, love should always be preached to encourage us to love and also to accept those who are evil with love, for them to turn from their wicked ways and become part of the kingdom worshipper. Only actions of love can be used to interact with the bad ones, for only love can change a bad person.
Formal belief: Because love is the bond that binds us to perfection, everything we do in our life should be driven by love for those around us, my formal belief was strengthened to keep loving others no matter who they are or what they have done to me. This is the only way we will be able to carry out what God has taught us to do here on earth, which boils down to two things: love for God and love for our neighbors, fellow men, and finally, love for our adversaries.
How does the word affect our daily lives? God is love, and if we claim to love him, we must follow his commandments and listen to his word. We were taught in today's class that we shouldn't just express our love with words; we need show it with our actions.By doing so, the word we have heard will alter our lives by changing our way of life and making us worthy of God's gospel, making us solid in spirit and soul, in our pursuit of God's teaching that provides peace, love, and salvation to our soul.
