Good day family,trust we are all doing good. Today is the 6th of May 2021 and I am doing this post as my comment to the topic;
" How did Jesus cure the blind man in Bethsaida?"
*Mark 8:22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. 8:23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. 8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. 8:25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. 8:26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.
During an eye operation to restore sight, there is usually a period of recovery. The ophalmologist usually cover the person's eye and requested that the person's eye be opened slowly. The eye is an organ that receives light and after the period it was bandage, you must not allow light to enter it at once rapidly because you may be destroying the eye again, it must be done slowly and gradually and that was the wisdom employed by the Lord Jesus; He did not allow the man the man to see clearly at once but only on the second touch of His hand and the man clearly saw every man and the wisdom here is for Him to protect the eye which he restored by allowing slow entrance of light.
So, in summary, the Lord touched the man's eye the second time,so as to allow the eye adapt very well to the situation.
