Obedience To Gods Will || The Old Path || MCGI

Hello, and welcome to my blog. Today I want to relate my insight on the teaching, Obedience to the will of God Brought to us by Bro. Eli Soriano.

Many may not know it but obedience to Gods Will is man's core duty

● Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV):

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

This statement is coming as a summary of Gods will for man by the wise king Solomon in the bible and after all his dealings in life, he tells that their is nothing that will make man more pleasing to God than obeying his commandments.

Reading from the book of Matthew 28 verse 20, Jesus emphasise on obeying the teachings / commandments knowing that it is the will of His Father. Jesus also assured being with them always. This is significance that when we do Gods will or obey Gods commandments then, God is with us.

● Matthew 28:20 (KJV):

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

In Matthew 7 verse 21, Jesus spelt out clearly what one must do to enter the kingdom of heaven

● Matthew 7:21 (KJV):***

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus says not every one who calls him lord will make it to the kingdom of heaven why because they donnot do the will of God which is to obey Gods commandment. To obey Gods commandments includes submitting to Gods authority.

After the teachings of bro. Eli. according to the scripture on this topic, it became clear what God requires of us. To become of God is to do God's will.
