Greetings everyone!
The church of God is decent place for worshipping God, and everything should be done decently to the glory of God. It follows also the there should be an order on how to dress in the church of God.
So it is important for us to know the apparel commanded by God for both our inner man and our outer man. Our inner man is our spirit being while our outer man is our flesh. In 2nd Corinthians 4:16 to 18, the Bible says that our outer man grows older daily, while our inner man is renewed every day. So on the inside, we are being renewed, while outwardly, our flesh is becoming older every day. That is why we tend to feel the same way within us even from childhood till we're old, but becomes weak outwardly when we're old. So we need to know the apparel that God has commanded for us to cloth the outer man and our inner man, so that we may glorify God in our dressing.
It is when our inner man delights in the word of God, obeying the commandments of God, that we'll dress decently. It is when we have the fear of God that we can dress modestly as the Apostles commanded the early Christians, that they should dress modestly. We are not to show our bodies to others.
Married women should cover their bodies properly, as their bodies belong to their husbands alone, likes the unmarried. They should not dress in a way to be a temptation to others.
According to Matthew chapter 7 verse 15, many are wolves in sheep clothing, so many are committing abominable acts; some are drug addicts, some beat up their spouses, some sleep with their children, some do all manner of animalistic acts because their inner man do not delight in the words of God. So rather than be concerned about our physical adornment, we should adorn our inner man with the word of God.
So we should study the word of God and allow the word of God to detect to us how we should behave. We are to adorn our inner man with the meekness of the spirit, which is the word of God. When we do, it would reflect in our outer man. If our inner man is delighting in the laws of God,
we would always wants to obey the commandment of God, and it will show in our dressing, as we would dress in the fear of God.

It's important to focus on both our inner and outer selves when worshipping in the church of God. A strong inner spirit that delights in God's word will guide our outer appearance, resulting in modest and respectful dressing.
