Greetings everyone, from the lesson, I leaned that God is only delighted in the prayers of the upright, but the prayers of sinners are abomination to him.
This means that we should keep ourselves from sins and be upright so that he can answer our prayers. We should as well be pleading God for forgiveness whenever we offend him.

Our confessions of sin should be to God and to whom we sinned against, not to priest. It's God alone that has the ability to forgive. James 1:16 says that we should confess our sins one for another. Not to priest. The scripture makes it clear that our confessions should be to God and whom we sinned against.

According to proverbs 28:13, he that covers his sins shall not prosper, but he that confess shall have mercy. So we should not cover our sins, but confess for mercy.

If we are chastened in one way or the other, we should know that there is iniquity in us. Rather than judge God to be wicked, we should examine ourselves to ensure that we are still upright before God. We should always examine ourselves to ensure that we don't hide any sin or iniquity in us because God does not behold iniquity. We should always confess and forsake iniquities that whenever we pray, God will answer us. We know that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, so we shouldn't hide iniquity in it.

We learned that the house of God is not the physical buildings of blocks or wood or any other materials, but the house of God is the church of the living God. And in the church of God, members should walk according to the commandments of God. When we walk according to God's commandments, God will always pay attention to our prayers and will even answer us before we start praying. In Isaiah 65:24, God says, he'll answer us before we call and while we're yet speaking, he'll hear us. So if it's a righteous man that's praying, God is always there to answer.

Elijah was a righteous man that's why when he prayed God answered him and there no rain on the Earth and when he prayed again, God Sent rain. Daniel also was upright before God such that before he finished praying, God sent his angel to deliver his prayer answers. This teaches us to be upright always before God.
