Good day brethren, i will be sharing with you the lessons i have gained from today's teachings;
Watch my video
I have learnt that there are things that are good, lovely and of good virtue that are not commanded by God for us to do in the true church but can done of voluntarily not based on compulsion at all. From the voluntary acts that was listed during the study session have learnt a whole lot from them.
I have gained that if we vow we should not break it but do according to what we have vowed. We should not make a vow that will be too hard or difficult for us to keep, keeping our vows before our feelings/emotion is a good way of keeping to our vow. Since is not compulsory to make a vow so making a vow should be something we need to think deeply before going into it.
The subject tithing has improved my belief system that tithing is not a doctrine of christ. We cannot be partaker of God and the same time that of the devil because light and darker has no connection or anything to do together, they will always be against each other. We should give contribution according to our conscience and not forcefully.
This study of God's word has affected me positively and also to be a better person thar willingness has a wonderful reward. That we should give according to how our heart purposes because God loves a cheerful giver, we should give according to the desire of our heart.
Thanksgiving is also done voluntarily, we should do good as we offer Thanksgiving to God. It is the will and commandment of God for us to give thanks thaf is what pleases the Father.
We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending
Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
