Here are the important lessons i have gained from the teachings of God according to the bible, i will also be sharing how it has improved my belief system and how it has affected me to be a better person;
I have learnt that as a wife i should be submissive to my husband because i have no power over my body as christ is the head of my husband like wise christ has made my husband my head and the only way to be obedience to this is to adhere to God's mandate to the institution of marriage.
Prayer is also a vital aspect of a true believer coupled with fasting has a great power. This has taught me to trust God in place of prayer devoting myself to fasting as well such that whatsoever i ask God will be given to me. Most importantly i should practice abstinence from any sexually intercourse but must be a mutual agreement from my partner.
My former belief about a woman covering her hair is when we use a material scarf to cover up, but thanks be to God for this study that has given me a deeper meaning and understanding to this former interpretation. Now i know that the long hair of a woman is her covering which is a sign of authority over our head as a woman. Also that the woman was created for the man and not the man for the woman.
This study has affected me to be a better person in the area of modesty when it comes to covering up the body, on no occasion or account should out body has a woman be exposed for the opposite sex to see, because this can lure them to the man lusting after our body as a woman, it can also lead to rape.
In conclusion in the institution of marriage christ has set a standard for both the wife and the husband to play and fulfil their role in the marriage, none should be found one thing. As christ is the head of the church so also the husband is the head of the woman.
