Why do people suffer tribulations? (Part 1 of 6)

Tribulations make us better people, I think you will agree with me, you are not better than the Apostle Paul. Maybe if you are a good man, the Apostle Paul is better than you and better than me also. Now if the apostles were given the power to heal sicknesses, to resurrect the death and to perform miracles; as good as they were they also suffered tribulations.

Let us read from the Apostle Paul’s experience as he journeyed on this earth, 2 Corinthians 11:26-27;

26:"In journeyings often, in perils of water, in perils of robbers, in perils by my own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren.
27:"In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness."

That was the life of the Apostle Paul, one of the greatest men who lived on earth. I think he is better much much than me and you. Some of the first century Christians, think better than me, but all of them suffered tribulations. It is not because God has forsaken us or left us in distress but there is an intent of the Lord—why He left His people or good men to suffer tribulations. Romans 5:3–5;

3:"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4:"And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5:"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us."

Understanding God’s purpose, He later proclaimed to the Romans. So there’s God’s intention for allowing us to suffer tribulations. Tribulations makes us better people with that virtue of patience and that virtue of patience maketh also the virtue of being experienced and our experience produces hope.

Thank you for reading.

God wants us to become better and well equipped people, that's why He allows us to pass through tribulations.

The tribulation we pass through will make us better persons

We trust God and allow the tribulation we see bring out the best out of us

I think Apostle Paul's tribulations refined him and brought out the Gold in him.

If the Apostles suffered tribulations despite their immense power, then as christians, we should pray for the strength of God to overcome.
