Is a Man's faith under the control of God? (1 of 2)

From brother Eli, I understand that God can control a man's destiny if he submits himself to be lead by God. However, He has given man the power of choice. Man has the liberty to choose between good and evil.

But as a loving God, he would always advice man to make the right choice that it might be well with him.
We can see that in Deuteronomy 30:19

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live

According to Genesis 2:16 we can see that Adam had the opportunity of choosing not to eat from the forbidden fruit but he chose to eat from it, and had to suffer the consequences thereafter.

So we can say that Man is a free moral being, with the power of choice, however man must face the consequences of his choices, good or bad.
