WHAT I LEARNT FROM TODAY'S MASS INDOCTRINATION ON GIVING OFFERINGS:
Giving in the church should be voluntary
2 Corinthians 9:7
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
If brethren are forced to give, they won't give cheerful.
So there shouldn't be any fix charge for offering in the church of God, every offering should be willingly given.
Psalm 116: 17-18
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
We should offer offerings of thanksgiving to God always as long as we live. Thanksgiving should be a continuous act. Hebrews 13:15
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Psalm 50:23;
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth the lord.
