Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
So our battle as Christians is spiritual, however, Satan is using our flesh to fight us.
Psalms 29:2 says;
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
As our God is holy, we should be holy too.
Revelations 22:11 says;
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
When we're holy, we please God. Holiness is doing righteousness and worshipping God.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
we've been created in Christ Jesus, who is holy.
To do good works is to do holiness.
Walking in holiness will bring forth fruits of righteousness.
Philippians 1:11
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
