It is really scary to think that we only have two choices for us, either a heaven or a hell. And there is nothing in-between like a purgatory thing. This video of brother Eli is a lot to think about.
Yes, what brother Eli is saying in this video is all about choosing between the good, the bad and there relative consequences. It is more likely when your parent told you, "You can choose to do hard work now, or you can choose to get in hard life later." It is all about free will. Were we go choose for ourselves. However, Brother Eli on the video is saying that our choices are way way way bigger than our life here on Earth.
I also, like on how Brother Eli explains, Jesus Christ is the only road for Christian believer to heaven. That's really makes sense to me, if we go to in some place, we have a map to follow, or we will lost. And on this article, Jesus is the only map going to heaven, "walk in Him," means follow Jesus teachings.
Meanwhile, the part about husband and wife is truly interesting. Brother Eli said that it is easy because they naturally love each other. And about the passage that if we do not follow Jesus teachings, we will go to hell. That is really scary, truly send shivers on my spines yet, it also makes me want trying harder to become good person.
Based on the video, I think that Brother Eli want us to think about our choice, being bad or being good. He uttered us that our lives is a journey, were we need to make sure that we are on the right path. It's like he's saying, "Wake up! Pay attention! This is important!"

If we want to go to heaven and if we want to be sure that we are going to heaven, we pass by the way to heaven, and that is through the Lord Jesus Christ. And how is that? It’s a very interesting question. How do we know if we are going to heaven when we die? The journey starts here. Remember, our journey starts here on Earth. The starting point is our life on Earth. This is surely the starting point of a journey going to heaven or going to hell. There are only two destinations of people.
There are two destinations in eternity: going to heaven and living peacefully and happily with God or going to hell to be punished with satan and his cohorts. Those are the only choices we have. Let us read in the book of Deuteronomy 30:19, it says, This is the liberty that God has given to every man. He said, So, there are two ways to travel to: the way of life and the way of death; the way of blessings and the way of curses. We have to choose. You have the right to choose. We are at liberty to choose for ourselves. We call it our own free will, our free choice.
So, the journey to heaven or to hell starts in this life. Now, how can we be sure that we are going to heaven? Let us hear from the Lord Jesus Christ, in the book of John 14:6. That is the answer of the Lord Jesus Christ. How are we certain, how can we be sure that we are going to the heaven? We must go to the Father because the Father is in heaven. But, how can you go to heaven, to the Father? The Lord Jesus Christ, He saith, So, the way to heaven is the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other way.
If we want to go to heaven and if we want to be sure that we are going to heaven, we pass by the way to heaven, and that is through the Lord Jesus Christ. And how is that? How can we, through the Lord Jesus Christ, reach heaven? How is that possible? Let us read in the book of Colossians 2:6-7, it says, If you are going to notice the teaching written by the Apostle Paul, Walk in Him. Because He is the way, we must walk in Him. How is that? On verse 7, it says, How can we walk to our Lord Jesus Christ which is the way?
The teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ are ways that we have to follow. We have to walk on His teachings. We do not walk literally to Christ, as if that Christ will lie down and we will walk on Him. Then He will be mangled. So, it is the teachings that we have to walk, the teachings of Christ. Everyday, we have to follow His teachings. That is one way of being sure that we are going to end up in heaven our journey. Follow Christ. Wherever God or Christ directs you to go, follow Him.
Even if it is hard way, even sometimes you have to feel discomfort in life, just follow Christ and you will go to heaven. You are sure, we are sure that we will reach heaven in our journey if we are going to follow Christ. How do we follow Him? John 12:26 says, You see? You see? So, a servant that follows Christ follows Him wherever He is, whatever He wants you to do. When He said, "Do not go to gambling houses." You must not be found on gambling houses. When He said, "Thou shall not commit adultery." So, you must not be seen in a motel with another man or a woman.
If you follow Christ, just go to your wife, it's the same. When you feel the lust of your flesh is calling you, go to your wife, do not go to the motel with another woman. If you have to follow Christ, you have to love your wife only or you have to love your husband only, if you have to follow Christ. And, it is not hard to follow Him. Why? When He said, It's not hard to love your wife or it's not hard to love your husband because she's your wife, he's your husband. It is not hard to do. It's so easy to do.
It's so easy to love a wife or a husband. It's so easy because you naturally love him. That's why you became husband and wife. Your husband courted you and you answered yes. When you answered yes, you gave your yes, and you said, “For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part.” So, you follow Christ, do not go to other women. Do not be a womanizer. Then you are going to heaven. "Honor thy father and thy mother." "Thou shall not kill." "Thou shall not covet." Et cetera.
If you are going to follow Christ, then you surely will end your journey in heaven. But if you are going to disobey, you are going to hell. That is what the Bible says.
