Review on: Why do people die|| The old path

Death is something we all have to face someday, but it’s not easy to talk about. It’s one of those big questions we often wonder about: “Why do people die?” or “What happens after death?” The truth is, death is just a natural part of life. It can be tough to understand, but it teaches us to appreciate the time we have and to live with meaning and purpose.

As we get older, our bodies naturally start to slow down. We might feel aches and pains that weren’t there before, and our organs don’t work quite as well as they used to. Aging is something no one can avoid.

Psalm 90:10 “Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.”

It’s a reminder that life is short, and we need to make the most of it.

Another reason people die is because of sickness. Serious diseases like cancer, heart problems, or even infections can take someone’s life. Sometimes, we don’t see it coming. It’s scary and painful, especially when it’s someone we love. But even in the toughest times, there’s comfort in knowing that God is always there with us, offering strength.

Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.”

This can bring some peace when we feel lost or scared.

Accidents also happen, and they can change everything in a moment. Car crashes, falls, or other unexpected events remind us how fragile life is. We can’t predict what tomorrow will bring.

Proverbs 27:1 “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.”

So, it’s a call to appreciate every day we have and not take anything for granted.

Sometimes, the pain of life can feel so heavy that people struggle to keep going. Those battling mental health issues like depression might feel like there’s no way out. It's important for us to be there for each other, to listen, and to show kindness when someone is hurting.

1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

A little love and understanding can go a long way, especially when someone feels all alone.

At the end of the day, death is a reminder that life is precious, but it's also temporary. We don’t know when our time will come, so it’s important to live in the moment and make each day count.

James 4:14 says, “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

Even though death is part of the journey, it’s not the end. For those who believe in God, death is the start of a new life with Him. This hope gives us comfort and helps us keep going, even when things are hard.
