Today we read this text and remember that it is known as the Great Commission, where Jesus before ascending to heaven entrusts a task to his disciples: it consists of taking the message of the Gospel to the whole world. This is not simply a suggestion, it is a call to take action and make Jesus known to the nations, to every person on earth regardless of their religion, creed or race.
This also reminds us that the faith we have in Jesus is not something we only want to keep selfishly, this faith must be shared with love with other people, carrying the message of Jesus and this is also reflected in a life of love reflecting his grace and truth.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;

Hoy leemos este texto y recordamos que se lo conoce como la gran comisión, donde Jesús antes de ascender al cielo le encomienda una tarea a sus discípulos: consiste en llevar el mensaje del Evangelio a todo el mundo. Esto no es simplemente una sugerencia es un llamado para tomar acción y dar a conocer a Jesús a las naciones, a cada persona en la tierra sin importar su religión, credo o raza.
Esto también nos hace recordar que la fe que tenemos en Jesús no es algo sólo para nosotros queremos guardar de forma egoísta, esta fe debe ser compartida con amor con las demás personas llevando el mensaje de Jesús y esto también se refleja en una vida de amor reflejando su gracia y verdad.
Por tanto, id, y haced discípulos a todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo;
