The Apostle Paul reminds us of something extremely important and powerful: he reminds us that we have been called to live in freedom, but we must differentiate carefully, since we are called to live a freedom that is not selfish, but one that is expressed through love for others.
In this world, many immediately understand the word freedom as doing whatever they want, but in this text, Paul makes things clear: true freedom is not licentiousness; true freedom is having the ability to make good choices and to let go of ego by serving others with love.
When we are willing to use that freedom to bless others, to accompany them, and to lend a hand, we are simply living in God's purpose, because God's love, just as it is through Jesus Christ and through us, is also reflected in service to others as a transformed life that transforms others.
For you, brothers, were called to freedom; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love, serve one another.

Apóstol Pablo nos recuerda algo demasiado importante y poderoso, nos recuerda que hemos sido llamados a vivir en libertad, pero debemos diferenciar bien ya que somos llamados a vivir una libertad no egoísta sino una que se expresa mediante el amor por los demás.
En este mundo inmediatamente muchos entienden por la palabra libertad como hacer lo que se les dé la gana pero en este texto Pablo pone las cosas en claro, la verdadera libertad no es el libertinaje, la verdadera libertad es tener la capacidad de saber elegir bien y dejar que el ego quedé atrás sirviendo a otros con amor.
Cuándo nos disponemos a utilizar esa libertad para bendecir a otros acompañar y darle una mano simplemente estamos viviendo en el propósito de Dios porque el amor de Dios así como a través de Jesucristo a través de nosotros también se refleja en el servicio a los demás como una vida transformada y que transforma a otros.
Porque vosotros, hermanos, a libertad fuisteis llamados; solamente que no uséis la libertad como ocasión para la carne, sino servíos por amor los unos a los otros.
