LESSONS LEARNED:

We examined the Biblical proofs that Christ Jesus was in existence before manifesting in the flesh.

Many claim that Christ Jesus is a mere man because he was born of Mary in the flesh.
This is not true. John 1:1 confirms that the word was in the beginning and was God. Nothing was made without the word. The word here, is the word of God, which is Christ Jesus.

So Christ was in existence before the foundation of the world.
In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible confirms that the word of God is living, so all things that live are alive because he is alive.

In Colossians 1:17, we understand that He was before all things and all things consist by him.
This clearly proofs that Christ Jesus was in the beginning before anything was made.

We also understand that in him we live, in him we move and have our own beings, so without him we can't live or move, not to talk of having our beings.

Christ Jesus was begotten of the father, according to Psalms 2:7. God never referred to any Angel as his son, but to Christ Jesus.

Scriptures also made it clear that God had already glorified Christ Jesus before the world was, as recorded in John 17:5.
So Christ had glory with the father before the foundation of the world.

Christ Jesus is not a man, he is a spirit; he's God.
John 3:6 confirms that he that's born of the spirit is spirit. As God is a spirit and begot Christ Jesus, then Christ Jesus is a spirit.

We all know that Christ Jesus is right now sitted at the right-hand of God in heaven. Fresh and blood can't get there. According to 1 Corinthians 15:50, flesh and blood can't inherit the kingdom of God. So Christ Jesus is not of flesh and blood.

The first Adam was a living being, while the second Adam is the life giving spirit. So Christ Jesus is a spirit.

Colossians 2:9 says, in him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead, bodily. So Christ Jesus, as a flesh here on earth, had an indwelling of the Godhead.
However, he was changed to immortal being before entering heaven.

Philippians 3:21 confirms that he shall change our vile bodies to his glorious body.
So before we can get there, we must be changed.

On this earth, we bear the earthly image, we shall also bear heavenly images before entering heaven, according to 1 Corinthians 15:49.

FORMER BELIEF:
I had no contrary belief regarding the topic.

EFFECTS OF THE TEACHING:
I have learned that without Christ being alive, nothing else can ever live.
Christ Jesus was in the Bossom of the father, before being manifested in the flesh.

Thanks be to God.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
