We should remain in the word of God, always studying and observing to do all we study. Because, as we are taught, we must be also taught to observe those things that we have learned and that should be a lifetime career.
John 8:31
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him. If he continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.
We must continue in the word of the Lord Jesus Christ. So we do not just read, or be counting times, what we need to do is to continue in the word of God. Once you have learned a particular teaching, then continuing it and God will teach you more and more and more and more, and you will progress in faith. So you do not count the times or. You do not count the moment or the occasions where in you are going to study the word of God. As a beginner, you must listen to the word, and learn how to observe, how to do, how to follow.
Matthew Chapter 28 verses 19 and 20,
Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
From the verses, it's clear that you have to be taught to observe the teachings that you have learned. The teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. As a child, you will be instructed, you will be healthy. You will be nourished by the teachings. As we continue living in this world of turmoil and confusion and temptations and sins, we must always be guided by the teachings of the Lord. The word of the Lord Jesus Christ. And as we are taught, we must be also taught to observe those things that we have learned and that will be a lifetime career.
So, we shouldn't be counting times of studying the word of God, we should study always and be observing the word of God everyday in our lives.
