According to Bro Eli, the only person that pleases God the most, is our lord Jesus Christ, his only son.
It is only the son, the only person existing in the entire universe, or even beyond the universe, that pleases God most. To a person who knows God, that it is God that executes all things that are good and justice upon the earth, to that person God is pleased. That is one thing that pleases God, a person that knoweth God, and understand that it is God that executes loving kindness and justice and righteousness upon the earth for in that act God is pleased.
Hebrews chapter 13, verses 15- 16.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name. But to do good, and to communicate forget not, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
To do good and to share or to communicate, forget not, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. So it pleases God that we do good and communicate with other people. To share what we have, to share our knowledge, to share wisdom, to share salvation to others, God is pleased.
Second Corinthians 9:7 it says
Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loveth a cheerful giver.
If there is somebody who is considered as a cheerful giver, he pleases God. When we give, it pleases God. When we share, it pleases God. When we love our fellow men, it pleases God. When we respect our father and our mother, it pleases God.
Ephesians 6:1
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. What does that mean, it means that it pleases God if children will obey their parents. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
Timothy, Chapter 2:1-2.
I exhort, therefore, that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men. For kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.
This is good and acceptable. The word acceptable there in Greek is pleasing also to God. The word used is apodictic, that is acceptable, that is agreeable. It is a synonym of something that pleases God. To be praying for men, I exhort thee that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men or kings, for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all goodness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior. You see, there are things that please God. God is well pleased. God is pleased. There are so many things that we can read in the Bible. There are so many acts.
So, there is nothing nor any existing other being that will please God in everything that he does other than the son. From eternity to eternity. It is only the son, the only person existing in the entire universe, or even beyond the universe that pleases God most.
