LESSONS:
The commandments that Jesus Christ left for his disciples was to love one another as he has loved them, that is how men would know that they are his true disciples. So we are created to love one another, to do good works to one another. If we want to do the will of God, then we have to do good works to one another because we were created in Christ Jesus unto Good Works. That is why the Bible charges us to do good works to all men whenever we have the opportunity. And then we know that God wants to have all men saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. So we should do good work so that by our good works we will draw men to God, and then they will be save from their wickedness. If we have a heart of doing good works, then God will always bring us opportunities to do good works, and then we will be blessed.
What does the Bible say about cleanliness? We learn from scriptures that to those who are pure, all things are pure. As it is often said, cleanliness is next to godliness. As we keep our environment clean, so that we will not be infected, or have issues with our health, we should also keep our hearts pure and clean. We should have a conscience devoid of offence toward God and fellow men. We should do business with a pure heart.
We should not perfect justice. We should be vessels of honour unto God, and then we should purge ourselves so that we will be used to do good works. We should not be plagues to our society, fighting and warring here and there, but we should be instruments of peace so that God can use us. We should relate with our fellow men in the ways of the Lord. We should not be fighting or causing problems. Instead of fighting and charging our fellow men to courts, we should rather suffer to be defrauded, as the Bible records in First Corinthians Chapter 6, verse 7. Whenever we have the opportunities, let us do good works. It is our good works that will draw men to God.
We should always note that whenever we see opportunities to do good work that it is God that is creating that opportunity, so we should not let any opportunity to do good works to pass us so that we can be blessed by God.
