El odio es lo contrario del amor es la aversión que se tiene hacia las personas animales o cosas, el odio es sinónimo de hostilidad ,rencor, enfrentamiento.
Hatred is the opposite of love, it is the aversion that one has towards people, animals or things, hatred is synonymous with hostility, resentment, confrontation.
Es claro que ambos sentimientos están albergados en una misma persona en mayor o menor porcentaje y esto influye estrechamente con sus comportamientos , percepción de la realidad y acciones tomadas.

Aprender a no odiar le resulta difícil al que sabe amar, porque un sentimiento origina al otro, solo la fuerza del raciocinio y el poder del conocimiento nos hace vivir sin rencores y no vengarnos de quien una vez amamos y nos hizo daño y por esa razón ahora le odiamos ,Gandhi en una de su frase dice :"Dios odia el pecado pero ama el pecador" y todo esto es llevado a muchas conjeturas por los estudiosos de la Biblia porque no es una frase bíblica, en Salmo 7:11 "Dios es un Juez justo y Dios esta airado contra los impíos todos los días" aqui las escrituras dejan ver que el gran amador del ser humano también tiene su sentimiento encontrado con ese gran amos que profesa a los humanos.
