To fast is one of doctrines to get something good from God. Fasting is very important when husband and wife are fasting they should abstain from any sexual activities they we pend it till the day the fasting ends.
1 Corinthians 7:5 tell us that
[5]Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
You must be free your self from sexual activities during that period.
Prayer is very sensitive.
What are we to do during fasting?
Isaiah 58:6 tell us that
[6]Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
