Ecclesiastes 5:4-5, Proverbs 13:12, Proverbs 27:1

The Bible and the teachings from the Bible are meant to address and improve us in all we are doing, which is patterning to our faith, just to improve our endeavor, which keeps on giving God our Father the honor. Hence, with the following, as I have learned about keeping promises to children, as i explain and share across. Hence, this teaching is not only meant for children but also beyond what we can think, which includes adults also.

Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 reveals to us the importance of fulfilling that which is the vow we made to God, which also speaks beyond that aspect, as this scripture lets us understand we ought to fulfill the promise and vow to God the same applicable man; hence, what we are meant to do is to fulfill all we have asked, which the Bible lets us understand is better we do not make a vow than we vow and do not fulfill it.

Within the proverb in this scripture in Proverbs 13:12, let us understand that when we break the promise we make without fulfilling it, it causes emotional distress, which most times affects children and even adults, which encourages us that by doing all in our effort to keep fulfilling the promises we made, we strengthen our faith as believers and retain our emotional wellness.

So, therefore, we are all warned in the book of Proverbs 27:1 against we believers engaging in making boasts of what we can’t fulfill, rendering such a person hopeless because the future cannot be predicted. So, brethren, let's be mindful of ourselves boasting about the future because we do not know what tomorrow holds. It teaches us to be mindful when making promises to children, ensuring that we retain our integrity.
