Our God is a God of all. There's no discrimination with our God. He does not select who to favour, help or protect. He protects all, both sinners and righteous.
His protection for us all has been shown through his creation; where he created the ozone layer to protect the entire earth from the adverse effects of the sun. He made so many other layers for the protection of mankind. These protection was not created only for the righteous, but for all, including sinners.
So God is all-powerful and most wise God, providing ultimate protection for us all. There are so many foreign objects, but God has protected us from them all. The earth could be hit by a meteor, but God has protected us against them.
We also enjoy the protection from the atmosphere which other planets don't have.
The atmosphere caused the burning of foreign objects that may be attracted by the gravitational pull of the Earth.
When God placed all these protection, he intended it for all men. God loves all men and what them all save. Even the most wicked sinner is protected by God.
He gives us Literal protection, physical protection, even spiritual protection.
The earth is under the attacks of Satan. Satan wants to take mankind to damnation. The only dwelling place of man in the earth, no other planet support life.
Acts, 17:26,
And hath made of one blood all nations of men, for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.
God created us all with intention to dwell on the earth. No other dwelling place exist for man in any other planets. According to sciences, it is only the earth that support life.
So, God's protection is for all, both righteous and sinners. He knows that Satan is launching attacks on man, so he made his protection for all.
However, God has special protection for his children; those that obey his commandments and fear him.
Psalm 34:7,
The Angel of the Lord Encamps around about them that fear him and deliver them.
So it is so good for us to be obedience to God in order to enjoy extra protection from God. Just like the earthly father loves and care for any child that obeys him, so is the lord God.
Matthew 5:45
That ye may be the children of your father which is in heaven. For he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and Sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
God sends his rain to all, and his sun rises for all. The plants of sinners enjoy the rain and sun from God to grow. So God does not show partiality. However, we should not take the goodness of God for granted; we should obey the commandments of God to enjoy more of God's protection.
