I want to share what I learned from the teaching by Bro Elisoriano
I learned that
The husband has no power over itself like wise the woman over herself, so we should not deprive each other except it be concept for a time of fasting and prayer ( 1 Cor 7 vs 5)
Fasting is a way of abstinence so we should control ourselves from acts of flesh while fasting has a couple and before the fasting their should be an agreement between the couple to abstain from act of flesh, intercourse while fasting is not allowed in marriage, when you coupled your prayer with fasting it works mightily because where science fails prayer prevails.
I learned that fasting looses band and heavy burdens ( Isa 58 vs 6 ), when you want to stop any bad act, fast and pray and it will be stopped
I also learnt that if you want to fast and you notice that someone offends you, you learn to forgive that person if not your prayer will not be answered if anyone owes you , you let that person go, ease the person from the burden of dept and your prayer will be answered ( Mat 6 vs 12-7). If you're sick or your loved ones, you will be healed by doing all that.
And also I learnt that whenever we are fasting we should share our bread to the hungry because you are fasting and you are not eating so the food you are to eat give it to the hungry and you should close those that are naked we should not deprive anyone from our help and by doing all that we will be able to see the light, and also we should not charge interest in money lend
Fasting has advantages scientifically, it has been proven that it helps in regenerating the entire system so it has a great benefit to us, it helps to boost our immune system.
I also learned that whenever we fast we shouldn't disfigure our faces( Mat 6 vs 15-17 ), we should not be like the hypocrite, because some people whenever they are fasting they show it to people so they can know they're fasting, we should not be like them, whenever we want to fast as a child of God we should go to our closet, our God that sees us in our secret place will reward us openly, should go to the corner of our room make our request known to God and God will give us the reward.
So we should give herself to fasting and prayer if you have obtained from loss of flesh as a couple after fasting and prayer then he'll come together again
And I also learnt that to attain pure conscience before god we shouldn't show her body to anyone especially the woman our body belongs to our husband and we should never expose it another not to fall another person to sinning against God (heb 13 vs 4), there are commandments to women's attire in the bible, so if we should observe all these commandments as a couple our prayer will be answered.
I learnt also that husband should dwell with their wife according to knowledge because they are weaker vessels so they should be respected and should never be hurt in any way ( 1 Pet 3 vs 7 ).
Lev 18 vs 19, during the wife monthly period, Sex is not allowed so the woman should be treated with respect
I also learned that ( Eph 5 vs 23 ), the husband is the head of the wife and the husband is subjected to Christ so also the wife subject everything to the husband and also if they are coming to the presence of God if the man covers his head, he has dishonors his head so he should never cover his head and the woman has been given a natural coverage which is the longer, it should not be cut, so when a woman comes to the presence of God the long hair represents that she is subjected to the husband and the husband to Christ so if a man has long hair it's a shame to the man . As a woman, show respect to her husband we should show good behaviour and even that can make them kinder and the wickedness in them will be gone.
If a man is a Believer and woman too, they give birth to peaceful children like Zechariah and Elizabeth, not to drug addict or disrespectful children
How the study affects me
I have learned to be righteous and all to be done for a prayer to be answered even in marriage, and I thank God that as at now I've known these which will really prepares my knowledge in marriage that when the righteous family prays, God answered
