I'm happy to be part of today's Indoctrination Session taught by Bro Eli, during his teachings today we were made to know that it is God's work if someone has the desire to study the work of God and also to do good, Philippians 2:13 normally,man's desires is in things of the flesh Colossians 6:2,let us set our hearts not on the things of the earth but of the things above which are the things of God which are supernatural.
Furthermore,in Isaiah 65:1, God said those that truly seek him shall find him, Romance 2:4 let us therefore allow God into our lives, let us continue to live in the righteousness of God.
However,we were told that Philippines is an open country,the Jews were allowed to enter Philippines by president Quezon more than 1000 Jews were allowed the president said it was right to do so. Two things exist in the word of God, GOOD and EVIL so we should always do the good brethren Acts 13:38.
In addition, Using Matthew 33:3 in his teachings he told us about the parable Jesus Christ our Lord gave to his disciples a man who was going to sow seeds, as he was going some seeds fell on the rocks they dried up,some fell by the road side,some fell on thorns and they never survived and some fell on good ground.
Question: What is the meaning of the seeds?.
Answer: The seeds represent the word of God and where it fell was the heart of men.
However, we have 4 kinds of hearts
First Heart
The seeds that fell on the road side waiting for birds and other animals to cater them away represents the first kind of heart. The explanation of this are the people who hears the word of God but quickly gives in to the devil and let him take the words away from them. This kind of heart actually listens to the word but the word doesn't bear fruit in them.
Second Heart
These hearts are represented by the seeds that fell on the rocky soil, they try to grow but have weak root to enable their growth. This kind of human heart are those who are willing to listen, accept, but the devil keep hardening their heart against it and doesn't let them practice what they hear
Third Heart
These heart are represented in the bible as those seed that fell on thorn. These hearts listens to the word and tries to practice them, but their surroundings keeps pulling them back.
Fourth Heart
This represents those seeds planted on a good soil which germinates and bear forth good fruit 🍓. These are men with good heart that listens, accepts, and practice the word of God.
In the four kinds of heart listed, only one is a good one however, this doesn't mean there is no hope for the other three. All it takes for the other three heart to be considered good is for them to turn away from evil deeds and seek the face of God. When we seek God's face, he answers and changes our hearts to good.
In conclusion, God loves us and wants us to be saved. To achieve this salvation, we need to turn away from our evil ways and seeks the face of God and him (God) will transform our hearts through the works of the holy spirit, 1 Timothy 1:13-15.
