Lessons from the MCGI cares program held on zoom on the 05/04/2022

Christ said in his word that blessed are the pure heart for they shall see God, we are advise not to have a filthy heart, we are commanded not to gossip about our fellow man because this kind of people separate close friends with their lies and evil words, so we are to remain pure and keep away from people with filthy heart, the heart must always be kept clean, by listening to the word of God is the only way that can make our hearts clean.
One of our obligations as a Christian on earth is to give alms to the beggars, some people use to say do not give alms to the beggars but the word of God told us to always give to the needy. We should not care about what they want to use the money for but our objective is to give them when we have more than enough in our pockets and by doing this God will be happy with us. There is nothing wrong in giving alm, God said blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy, so we are advise to show mercy to people who are in need of something and this will make God in heaven to show us mercy.
What is going on in the world today now makes it difficult for some people in the world to eat three times a day, some videos were shown to us during the course of the program of how a man was assisted with money to build his business and one thing I learnt about this video was that the man was happy at the end and we are advise as followers of Christ to always do good to others, we should always make people around us happy.
We must trust in God, pray to him and always cast our anxiety to him because he his the only one that can help us lift the burden in our hearts. God commanded us in his words to always live righteous.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
