This is what I learnt from the teachings :
The husband and wife must practice self control i.e abstaining from sex before they fast and pray. Fasting is a special way of asking from God. Prayer coupled with fasting has great power. When science fail prayers prevail. For the husband and wife here if you are fasting for be it 3 days, 5days or 7days you are commanded by the holy book to abstain from sex during this period, so you are advise to be disciplined through out the days of the fasting. For people like the gamblers, prostitute, drug addicts who prays to God and see no answers you are asked to change your ways and repent your sins before your prayers can be answered by God.
As a christian we must always give to the poor when you are fasting, to the people who are naked you are commanded to give them clothes and to the people who are hungry you give food.
According to science fasting for as little as three days can regenerate the entire immune system, even in the elderly, scientists have found in a breakthrough described as "remarkable".
The body of the husband belongs to the wife while the body of the wife belongs to the husband, so you are advise not to share your body. It his prohibited for a woman to reveal her body to others. The bible really dislike Adultery, for us to devote ourselves to the doctrines of Christ we must learn not to commit adultery.
If you are living together as husband and wife you must dwell together according to knowledge. As a man you must have self control not to be sleeping with other women around. A woman body is naturally weak and fragile i.e we must not turn our wife body to punching bag. So we must love our wife and honour her, so if we go to God in prayer he will answer us.
God made the husband the head of the family so the woman must submit herself to the husband. So we advise you men not to allow your wives wear clothes that reveals the body. A man must provide for the family because this is the part of the obligations the holy book told us to do. If a woman prays she must cover her head and for the man he must not cover his head. The bible says anybody who findeth a wife find a good thing and the person will obtain favour in the presence of God.
