Saving the soul of a child could mean saving the future of a generation of country. Take for instance, if God destined for that child to be one of the greatest inventors of its time. That you save the soul of the child, you will make him use his talent for the glory of God and the benefits of mankind. He won't grow up to become a terrorist and criminal. The nation will have peace that way.
