To be obedience to the will and purposes of God we must understand what is the will of God. The will of God is contained in his word. The purpose of God is expressed in His commandments. The commandments of God tell us what God wants for our lives. We cannot understand the will of God if we don't study the Word of God. The Bible contains what is the purpose of God for our lives.
To obey the purpose of God, we have to obey the commandments of God. That is why it is important that we should always listen to the doctrines of Jesus Christ. We should come to hear what God is instructing us everyday. There is no other way we can do that which pleases God if we do not understand the commandments of God.
When we understand the commandments of God, we must endeavor to obey it completely. We must not neglect any of the commandments of God. We must obey in totality what God is telling us. We should not commit sin. We should not refuse to do good. All of these are the commandments of God. We should follow the doctrines of Jesus Christ. When we obey the doctrines of Jesus Christ, we are doing what is the will of God.
