Many of us are confused about what is the image of God as it is written in the Bible. The Bible says that God created us in His image. What is this image of God?

Is the image of God which we were created all about our physical appearance? Is it the shape and morphology of our body? Are we in the image of God when we see ourselves in two legs and two hands? Is it the type of head that we have or the way we look as humans? Is it our physical body that makes us look like God?

The image of God is not just our physical body. We should understand that God is a spirit. God is a spirit. He doesn't have a body. So, the image of God is not about our body shape and morphology. The image of God is the likeness of. It is those qualities and attributes that make us look like God.

The qualities of God that make us look like God are holiness, righteousness, love, etc. When we are holy, we are living in the image of God. When we are loving, we are living in the image of God. We are are righteous, we are living in the image of God.
