Soul is the entire being of a man and the materials from the ground (dust) breathe of life(spirit)made up a living soul

Every living things have a soul(revelation 16:3)And the second angel poured out his vial upon the Sea and it became as the blood of a dead man and every living soul died in the Sea

God also has a soul (Hebrews 10:38)
Now the just shall live by faith but if any man draw back my soul shall have no pleasure in him

Soul is the spirit that leave the body while the body is the remaining.
