MASS INDOCTRINATION SESSION DAY 1 10/01/2022

in MCGI Cares Hive3 years ago

My take on the lessons that was taught today
1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
We should never go beyond what is written because God's commandment is what we follow and live by. The only teachings we should follow and adhere to is the teaching of our Lord Jesus i.e God's word.
Man has been given freedom to choose and God knows in our heart that we want to serve Him and so He puts that desire in our heart to continually strive for the faith of the gospel and to share it with men.
Romans 10:17
So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
God gave the apostles a guide to live by which is to listen to Jesus and learn His ways because it is wrong to leave the commandments of God and heed to the commandments of men. Christianity is not done recklessly, we submit ourselves to be led by Him...
If something is not written in the Bible it is unacceptable. We were taught to acknowledge what is written. If it's not written it's not God's commandment. So beware of those who teach wrong doctrine because the Bible warned against it
Mat 17:5
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Paul who wrecked havoc in the church was called into the very church he was persecuting
Act 22:15
For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
Mat 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
We've been called to make disciples of all nations and baptize them in the name of the Father, teach them and then send them into the world to preach and make disciples and this was exactly what Paul did. He became a full proof of a man called by God who consulted God and heeded to His every command.
Eph 3:6
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
Receiving the Lord Jesus Christ is what gets us saved and then joining the church is very necessary. Joining the church is God's will because it is the spiritual body of Christ. It is His command so if we say we receive Christ but reject His word it means we've rejected Him because receiving Christ is receiving His word. So man should join the church because it's the will of God concerning us.
Joh 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
God's commandment is life everlasting and Christ hails from the Father and that which belongs to God is called by His name. Everything created by God is called by His name that is His will.
Ephesians 3:14-15, Acts 3:22, Acts 20:28, 3 John 1:9, Ephesians 5:23.
The teachings of Christ should be our only basis for living for it's the only true doctrine.

Hive Power Up Month - Feedback from Day 7
Support the HiveBuzz project. Vote for our proposal!

Due to some circumstances, the publishing rules of our Hive community have to change. The changes are as follows;
Do not include any verse in the post, if we want we can add some screenshots of the verse inside our post.
Please include our video
✅ Minimum of 400 words in a single post.
✅ It is good if we can answer these 3 simple questions when making our Hive post.

  1. What are the important points we have learned from God's words discussed in the Zoom meeting?

  2. What are our old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?

  3. How does the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?

We suggest adding more of our personal reflection on the topic discussed, I can give an example here,

Matthew 28:20 - we have learned that we are to obey the commandment of the Lord and preach the gospel in all nations until the end comes but who are the main people who will preach, it is in the church of God as it is written

1 Peter 2:9 - God's people have the obligation to preach the gospel that is found in the one body. In this way we can always add our personal reflection and understanding, we can avoid mass quoting the whole verses.

We have to apply this to avoid any conflict from other communities. I hope we understand, God help us.
