New Year's resolutions are a tradition in which people make a promise to themselves to do or not do something in the coming year. Many people make resolutions related to self-improvement, such as exercising more or quitting a bad habit. Some people may turn to the Bible for guidance or inspiration when making their resolutions.
There are many passages in the Bible that could be relevant to New Year's resolutions. For example, in Romans 12:2, it says,
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." This verse could be used as inspiration to make a resolution to renew your mind and seek God's will in the coming year.
Another relevant passage is Philippians 3:13-14, which says,
"Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." This verse could be used to inspire a resolution to let go of the past and focus on the future, setting goals and striving to achieve them.
Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what New Year's resolutions you want to make and how you want to use the Bible to help guide you in keeping those resolutions.
