Greetings mcgi family,I trust you all are doing Good, I salute everyone in the name of our lord Jesus Christ and I bless God for today message.
Key points and what I learnt
Philippians 2 vs 13
We were taught in this scripture that mans desire should start with God not the pleasure of this world and also we are not the ones who start the Good work, doing Good start with God.
We are to do his good pleasure not our earthly desire, God gives us the intention to do Good and to know the things about God.
Colossians 3 vs 1
We were taught in this scripture that God made man to dwell on the face of the Earth and also to seek him,our affection should be on God not on earthly pleasure of this world and if we are seeking God we will find him.
- I learnt that it's our obligation to seek God and draw near to him, he is not far from us if we seek him
Matthew 13 vs 3-5
We were taught that Jesus was teaching the people and he gave them a parable about the sower who sowed, some seed fell by the wayside,some on Stony places,some on the thorns and some on the Good ground which brought forth fruit, whatever kind of heart you have,you have hope because God is powerful to change our heart.
- I learnt that if I submit myself to God,God can change my heart to Good ground, like my heart will be fertile because his word dwell in me already.
What kind of people are we ?
I learnt that there are four kind of men in this world, Jesus explain it in Luke 8 vs 11-15
- A man with a heart that is a wayside which the devil can easily collect the word.
- A man with a rocky heart, which is very stubborn to God's word, the word doesn't have effects on him and cannot penetrate him.
- A man who has a Thorny heart who have alot of earthly ambition and desire for the pleasure of this world.
- A man who has a good heart and very honest which is the good ground,who heard the word, keep it and bring forth fruit.
No matter how bad you think you are, God is in the business of fixing broken heart, just seek him and you will find him, Apostle Paul in Act 22 vs 4 was a persecutor of the brethren of Jesus Christ, his heart was full of evil but still yet Jesus fix his heart and he became a great army in God's vainyard.
- I learnt that we shouldn't let Satan defeat us but we should listen to God, we will be justify by the spirit of God.
