Is there punishment for those who mistranslated the Bible?

Hello,

I want to make a contribution to the question: Is there punishment for those who mistranslated the Bible?

Our Lord God is supreme and He is intentional about His Word. He guards His Word jealousy because God is the Word. He is not a man that would lie neither a son of man that would repent. Has He not spoken it and would He not do it? Has He not said it and would He not make it good?
His Word is supreme and would want no man to add or subtract from His Word to mislead people. Most people twist the truth to satisfy their current reality but God frowns against those who add or subtract from His Word.
Roman 8: 20
But who are you, my friend, to answer God back? A clay pot does not ask the man who made it,"why did you make me like this?"

Revelation 22:18-19
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.
**And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Taking away from God's Word is taking away another personality of God and God doesn't want that. You can't add to it too because God doesn't need our help. Before He formed us, He knew us. Before we came to being, He predestinated us and it would be a huge misconduct to try to help God or take away from His Word. There are curses already outlines for those who do these and it might take a long time for it to manifest and that's due to His mercy talking, hoping the person would come to repentance.
