Hello brethren,
I want to contribute to the question ;" what was Jesus Christ's Job'.
Mark 6:3 gives us the response by those in Jesus' hometown when he returned to teach in the synagogue,
Mark 6:3"Isn't he the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon? Aren't his sisters living here?" And so they rejected him".
Also, in the book of Matthew 13:54-55, saying "Coming to his hometown [Jesus] taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, 'Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?'"
Based on occupation, Jesus Christ was a carpenter like the normal of his generation.
Most of the Jews were offended of him instead of believing in him.
They were judging him not by his teaching but by his family background.
Remember that Joseph ,the foster father of Jesus was a carpenter also. And Jesus followed the footsteps of his father.
So carpentry work is a trade he likely learned from his father of the same profession.
The trend of Joseph was just passed to Jesus. Jesus lived a normal life like others.
As recorded in the Bible. The Jews realized that Jesus is not ordinary, just the way they thought, when Jesus started teaching and performing miracles.
Thanks for reading.
