Hello brothers and Sister l would like to share what l learnt during MCGI mass indoctrination as led by Brother Eli on 9/11/2021.
This is the second day of the mass indoctrination.
Brother Eli started the teachings on the topic:
THE CHURCH
The church is a word which was obtained from the Greek word Ecclesia
The Ecclesia means those called by God
This means the Church is all about those called by God into is gathering.
The members from the first church were all called out from different places.Which we are also called from different places.
As Paul was also called from the Jews to be part of the church of God.
Even though Paul was persecuting the church of God yet God called Him.
We are all called into the church of God
Galatians 1:13
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
I learnt that the only church the Bible talks about is the Church of God.
There is one church and the church the Bible talks about is the Church of God which the owner is the living God.
The church of God appeared 11 times in the scripture.
Hear 1 Timothy 3 :15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth
Since the church belongs to God ,His name should be the heir of the gathering.
Isaiah 43:7
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
God requires us to call everything that belongs to Him by His name.
GOOD NAME IS GREATER THAN RICHES.....
Proverbs 22 :1
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
As we choose to join any church we should take our time and check the owner of the church.
If it is the church of God where they teach the doctrine of Jesus Christ .Then you are blessed.
Remember we are all called to one body.
Ephesians 4:4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
There is always a consequence of rejecting the word of God and His church
John 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
