Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus Christ is the greatest, when He was saying we will do greater works, He was referring to the element of time not the magnitude of exploits. No matter the works we do, we cannot be greater than Jesus.
Bro Eli also talked about good works. It’s expected of us as Christians to do good works. Some think good works are not needed because it’s filthy rag. But that is a misinterpretation of the Bible. When we submit ourselves to God and he works out good works in us, that is not filthy rag. According to
Hebrews 6:10 NIV: "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
God works in us to will and to do of his good pleasures.
