Power belongs to God!

God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God. Today, if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.

Texts: Job 33:14; Psalm 62:11; Hebrews 3:7.

During the reign of terror of the Red Khmer in Cambodia Song had to flee to Thailand to escape genocide. Of the twenty-five companions on the dangerous road to exile only seven reached their destination after surviving the most difficult conditions. All the others died or were killed on the journey.

Song then spent four years in a refugee camp in Thailand. There he came in touch with the gospel through missionaries. During the early months he determinedly rejected all that concerned Christian faith. He was given a Bible, but he used the leaves for cigarettes.
