A common man doesn't desire the things of the Lord but instead, they desire worldly things that can perish. Man's desire begin with God because he is the one who gives us the desire to do good but naturally what we desire is to do earthly things. God is not far from us if we are seeking Him but He is far from those that are not seeking Him.
It does matter where we are from and which race we are race, God has given us the command to seek. The two things that exist in the world are good and evil and we have to choose which side we are going to be. The seed is the word of God, they are not just the normal seed that we know of and the wayside is the heart of a man due to the fact that it is by the wayside, Satan can easily take away the words from us. The ones who are at the rock can easily believe but can be taken away by the devil. If the word of God falls into the thorning ground but the word is not able to germinate because of the thorn.
The Lord can give us a new heart for us to be good, even with science, the heart can be changed. If scientists can change our hearts, God can also change our hearts but not the literal heart. All of us how hope because He wants everybody told to be saved. Even if we are the worst sinner, the Almighty God will forgive us of our sins if only we can come to Him and forsake our evil works.
I got to learn that the Lord is not far from us, it is only behavior and action that make us far away from him I got to learn that it does matter who we are, we can be saved if we decide to come to the Lord in repentance. I got to learn that the good ground is that heart that is ready to please the Lord.
