Today's topic is on domestic violence
Domestic violence has been one of the most alarming issues faced in marriages, thousands of marriages are in shambles and some are broken because of violence.
I believe the Bible has the truth about domestic violence,for it has clearly stated that it is the hand work of Satan.
Ephesians 5:28
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Biblically,the teachings of God is for a man to love his wife like himself.
when there's love violence and hatred is less
I would say,to love is a commandment from God
When a man loves his wife as himself, it's difficult to hurt yourself, it's difficult to beat yourself or garm yourself..
But when satan steps into the marriage,love is stolen
That's why its possible for a man to beat his wife to death, troubles and issues sets in, confusion everyway from both parties and peace is killed.
All this is Satan's handwork
Ephesians 2:2
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
There's a spirit that works in the lives of people which causes them to sin and to hate each other and this spirit comes from the devil .
As Christians it's possible for us to overcome this spirit when we don't walk according to the course of this world.
As people of God we should learn to live in love with one another
