THE IMPORTANT POINTS IN THE LESSON
Good day great people of MCGI Care Community! I bring us greetings in the name of the Lord. Today is the day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it.
I want to appreciate the family of MCGI Care for their good work and for allowing themselves to be a vessel in the hand of the Lord Jesus.
In today's program we learnt the importance and necessity of being grateful to God and to our fellow men for the good things done to us.
It is a good thing if we imbibe the attitude of gratitude, because of the many benefits that is associated with being grateful.
I learnt that showing appreciation is one of the ways we can establish our relationship with our fellow men. Most people don't know that when someone helps us and we fail to show gratitude it will discourage the people from helping us the next time we need help and it will equally draw them away from us.
I learnt also that being grateful has a way of helping us sleep well. It also has serious health implications. Those people that are not grateful are easily afflicted with various kinds of sickness and diseases. For us to be in health always we were encouraged to be grateful at all the time.
Colossians 3:15
We learnt from this scripture that one of the benefits of being grateful is that we would have peace in our hearts always.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
We learnt from this scripture that it is the will of God for us to give thanks always, whether in good times or in bad times. God expects us to be grateful to Him always and to also appreciate our fellow men for the things they do for us.
I learnt that God knows how and when we should position ourselves. God did not create us alone, He created us with people so that we can relate well with them. When we were born our parents especially our mother was always there to help us grow and become better. One of the ways of showing our parents that we value what they did for us is by showing appreciation to them, not being rude to them.
I learnt that sometimes we need to experience hardship to learn the truth of life. Hardship are not always bad especially for a Christian because all things works for the good of those that love God.
One of the ways we show that we love God is by keeping his commandment. Anyone that claims to love God and doesn't keep His commandment is not saying the truth.
So if we love God then everything that happens around us is for our good. We are not expected to take things the way other people take things especially hardship and challenges.
Philippians 4:6-7
We learnt from this scripture that we should present all our worries, hardship and challenges to God. We were encouraged not to be anxious for anything, but we should present all our hardship to God in prayers and supplication coupled with Thanksgiving. If we do that God will keep our hearts and thought from all anxiety by giving us peace which passeth all understanding.
MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WAS IMPROVED
I learnt that we should always be grateful to God and our fellow men for it is the will of God.
I learnt that what it means to love God is to keep His commandment. If we claim to love God then we would not joke with His commandment.
I learnt that what God can do for us no man can do it for because God's thought is far far higher than the thought of men.
I learnt that different people have different challenges they are experiencing. But we were encouraged to always give thanks to God in all our circumstances whether good or bad. God always allows the things that happens to us to happen for our good. All things works for good to them that love God.
I learnt from the drama that problems are not problem because there's a solution to every problem.
We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending
Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
