INTRODUCTION
Good day great people of MCGI Care Community! Today is the day that the Lord has made we shall rejoice and be glad in it.
I bring us greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! I won't stop appreciating this Community for the great work God is doing through them, it not really easy for one to decide to be a usable vessel in the hand of the Lord, it takes great sacrifice.
THE IMPORTANT POINTS IN THE LESSON
Today's teaching was centered on the need to give ourselves to researching into the word of God so as not to be deceived by the traditions of men.
Bro Daniel began by telling us that necessity is the mother of invention, most of the creativity we see around the world from science to agriculture and so on are all inspired by the need of man.
We equally learnt that most of this inventions are not strange or new to scriptures because it was prophesied in the holy scripture that a time is coming when knowledge would increase.
Daniel 12:4
We learnt from this scripture that a time would come when knowledge would increase. And this is that time because we are in the era of many discoveries and inventions
Just as need drives men to research and inventions, the same true of our knowledge of God. So many of us were born into strange religion and if we don't see the need to search for the the true religion we would remain where we are, but when the arises we research to find the truth.
MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WAS IMPROVED
I learnt that it is good to explore knowledge through research so that we can find the true and original religion.
I learnt that it is in exploring knowledge through research that we get to find direction in life, know the truth and find the best place of worship.
I learnt that researching into knowledge is a sign of open mindedness......
1 Corinthians 6:16-17
I learnt from this scripture that we are the temple of the living God. God dwells in us and expects us not to mix ourselves with false gods or to worship idols.
Isaiah 52:11
We learnt from this scripture that God doesn't want to us to remain in error but He wants us to get rid of doctrine that are not from Him. It says we should be clean and for us to be clean we must intentionally separate ourselves from anything unclean.
1John 4:1
I learnt from this scripture that we should test all spirit because so many false prophets are around. It is in testing that we get to know if they are of God or not.......
Mark 7:7
I learnt from this scripture that there are so many inventions of men that not of God. And so many people have replaced this inventions with the commandment of God. It is our responsibility to know the doctrine of God so that we won't fall for the doctrines of men
2Timothy 3:15-16
I learnt from this scripture this scripture that everything we need to know for instructions, reproof, correction and doctrine are written in the Bible for us.
