Teaching review on the proper way to pray unto God by Brother Eli
I came to the understanding that prayer is a communication with God where we tell him or request of him to do for us what we cannot do for our self or anyone else can do for us it is not the place of complaining or crying without any proper request from him you must be specific with your request from God for him to answer your prayers Paul the apostle in the book of Philippians chapter 4:6 says we should not worry about anything including what to eat or wear or worrying about a sick person but then instead of worry we should call to God on the altar of prayer with a thankful heart make our request known unto God
Brother Eli said prayer is asking God things beyond the comprehension and beyond the power of any man but I also understand from the teaching that if we don't have faith in our prayer to God he cannot answer us
Faith is the key principle for an answered prayer from Hebrew 11:6 We understand that without faith we cannot please God faith is believing that God is able to do that which we ask him to do for us
Brother Eli in his teaching said that for us to receive that we have ask of God we must pray in faith without any doubt that God can do that which we ask him that is why Philippians 4:6 said "...with thanksgiving let us make our request known to God" Thanksgiving means we believe that God can answer our prayer
Also Apostle James said in James 1:6-7 that anyone you doubts cannot receive anything from God
So the most important thing in praying unto God is having faith that he will definitely answer our prayers
