1 Corinthians 11:22 - What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
The liberty which God has granted us in His presence should not be abused or taken for granted. There should be some constraints within us concerning certain behaviours in the church. Our God is a Holy God. Therefore when we come before His presence we should be extremely mindful of certain things which are distasteful to Him.
We don't expect to be congratulated by God when we misbehave in His presence just as Paul was saying to the people in the scripture above. They took the communion carnally forgetting that it is something that is sacred. This is the same way some people have commonized certain things in the church and disregarding the spirituality in it.
The Bible made us know that for us to serve God effectively we need to worship Him in spirit and in truth. When we worship God in spirit there are certain behaviours or manners we do away with whenever we are in His presence, knowing that they don't glorify God. All our actions should be aimed at pleasing out father in heaven.
