Revelation 21:21 shows the description of heaven. Heaven has 13 gates and each gate consit if ine pearl. If a gate is made if pearls, then it must be a very big pearl. The streets are also made of pure gold.
It doesn't look like an earthly city, even the gold and the pearl are heavenly and spiritual.
The world largest pearl was found in 1934 by a Philippino in the palawan sea according to history. It was 600 years old, it weighed 14pounds and 9 1/2 inches long, 5 1/2 in diameter.
Even this pearl can not make a gate and it's value was worth $42 million.
If God made a gate of pearl , then God must be very wealthy. God made a gate with pearl that is priceless.
It is important to understand the letters of the bible by the spirit of the letters and not just the ink.
