What are our financial obligations?

This is my video comment in response to this post.

Jesus said in the book.of Matthew 5:42 that we should give to everyone that asks from us and we shouldn't withhold from borrowers.

Matthew 5:42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

It is our obligation to be responsible for the poor and the needy.

Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

God also gave the Israelites an obligation not to turn back from the needy.

It is our responsibility to take care of the poor and those who needs help around us.

Exodus 22:25 “If you lend money to any of My people who are poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest.

God commanded that money lend to the poor should not used as an opportunity to use them.

1 John 3:17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

When your brother have need, you should not shut your bowels of compassion in him
